1. Introduction to Samaritans programme
Worth noting that the introduction to the programme strand 'Checkpoint' was by two former employees of Swindon Viewpoint - John Adams, who was appointed Station Manager after the departure of Richard Dunn, but who only stayed in post for about a year, and Phil Reed, the station engineer, who came to us from Sony in around 1975, and stayed on until 79/80.
