Produced:
September 12th 1974
People in Pinehurst made this programme about the need for playschemes. First of all they examine the issue of vandalism and the needs of young people, then visit the new Richard Jeffries adventure playgrounds and finally look at the experimental scheme in Pinehurst during 1974, interviewing children and parents. There is some tape damage, but excusable in such a historic tape. Some of the earliest playworkers are interviewed.
