What a great piece of archive! Benn reveals that as far back as the mid 60's he was lobbying for mixed funding and local control for local media. He wriggles out of the accusation that Labour didn't do ANYTHING for community tv when in power and predicts the multichannel revolution. He also gives some good soundbites about SVP being a Good Thing - which I'm sure we should use one day!
