1. Harvest Video
The band Harvest featured in this video came down to Swindon from Scotland for a week in 1979. They they took part in a one day music/drama festival put on by Swindon Youth for Christ in Faringdon Road Park and as mentioned by Marke did schools work and other concerts in churches around the town. This video was probably shot at either William St or Liddington St Gospel Halls.
Around the same time there was a Swindon christian band also called Harvest, who later changed their name to FirstFruit. They regularly did schools work and series monthly concerts in what is now the dance studio in the Town Hall. Bob Bowles, the lead singer and guitarist of FirstFruit can still be seen performing in venues around Swindon. http://www.myspace.com/bobbowles
2. 'Harvest'
The band was called 'Harvest', their music was of a religious nature and they performed at schools and youth church events from memory. No idea were this was recorded but the images were put over the top due to a poor live recording by the looks of the end of the video.
