This was made on 16mm film as a project for Summer School students which we co-organised in 1982. It is a portrait of Southsea, where many daytrippers from Swindon went, and makes a companion piece for 'A trip to the Seaside' also on the site, which documents a coach trip to Southsea. Apologies for the poor transfer from film to video, which must have been made at the time, and we haven't located the 16mm yet
