Alan Wilmot A glimpse of the GWR's Weymouth Boat Train as it arrives in the town. Weymouth was often called 'Swindon-by-the-sea' because it had so many Swindon visitors. The locomotive here is the ubiquitous GWR 'pannier' tank. These far outnumbered and did much more of the day to day work than the glamorous 'names'
