| Bridge Street - Tramcar No 13 1925 |
Tramcar No. 13 has just reached the passing loop having departed from the Centre for Old Town and the Corn Exchange. Built in 1921, Tramcar No 13 is still in existence in a dilapidated state in a field in Purton awaiting funds for restoration. |

| Bridge Street and Fleet Street 1904 |
Opening of the Tram service 22 September 1904. The junction of Bridge Street and Fleet Street was known as Clappens Corner. Eventually became known as 'The Centre'. The clock on Stead and Simpson's served as a standard for the trams. It was 'lost on site' during the 1999 rebuild of the site. |
