The original main entrance of Swindon Market, by now blocked off inside to form a separate shop for 'Harry's Walk-round Stores'. Wharf road was named after the nearby wharf on the canal below the current 'Big Screen'

Ornate gateway to Swindon market. The market was closed in 1977 and traders rehoused in the Brunel Centre. The building was demolished and the area served as a car park until the new market was erected recently
