As we add more and more films from the vaults, or newly made, you will see it building into the most comprehensive and fascinating film record of any town in the country: For Swindon Viewpoint is Britain’s original and longest standing public television service and began recording programmes in 1973. Additionally, the catalogue of media we offer via our partner, Western Film Archive stretches back a hundred years. As you would expect the range of types of programme we have carried is enormous; extending from the parochial to international significance, - and from social action to arts and entertainment.
